上達する！マンガキャラ・デッサン [link]

Recently I bought a new how-to-draw book, titled 上達する！マンガキャラ・デッサン which means "Improve! Manga character designs and sketching".

It is actually quite basic, but the good point is that the book constructed it into such a way that it's very easy to understand, and it has a whole section devoted to drawing from real life photographs and turning them into manga-sque styles. Yeah, drawing from life helps tremendously in your art.

I also bought Monster Hunter Illustrations artbook. While I have the game on PSP, I felt the game was only alright for me, but I really like the designs and the creativity they exhibit in the weapons/armors and the creatures in the world :3

I felt like collecting the Robot artbooks [link] but its sooooooo far in the volume release already, it's gonna blow a huge atomic hole out of my pockets

Manga wise, I've been really into Yotsuba! [link] lately :3 It's a slice of life manga I highly recommend to anyone who appreciates the little things around us XD
